West Chester Cooperative opened its permanent downtown grocery store at 204 W. Market Street on August 21, 2026, after more than a decade of organizing, fundraising and community involvement.

The community-owned market is open to everyone, not just member-owners, and focuses on fresh, local and sustainably sourced foods while supporting regional farmers and producers. The store is located across from the Chester County Justice Center in downtown West Chester.
